Pretty Bitches examines the gendered language used to diminish women and the power those words can hold. Through memoir, cultural commentary, and critique, its contributors unpack labels like “bossy,” “feisty,” “frumpy,” and “aggressive,” and consider how those words might be challenged, reclaimed, or reimagined.
