No One Is Forgotten: An Immersive Opera
ABOUT
Adapted from Winter Miller’s play No One Is Forgotten, this immersive opera follows Lali and Beng, a journalist and aid worker held captive together. The adaptation expands the two characters into four performers, with each woman embodied by both an actor and singer. Spoken word, operatic voice, cello, electronics, Foley, and spatial audio create a world in which the women are physically confined while their inner lives escape through music.
The work exists in two forms: a completed immersive radio opera and a staged opera currently in development.
